Light The Way 2002

 

Over 3,000 guests attended the seventeenth annual Light The Way Ceremony on Saturday, Nov. 23rd. Families and children enjoyed the performance of Patsy Torres, along with the display of fireworks afterwards.

Elf Louise thanked the crowd for their support in donating toys for the children.

The community can enjoy a tour of the Christmas lights through Jan. 6th.

President’s Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Professors, faculty and administrators came together to roll meatballs for the student’s annual spaghetti dinner.

SACUPA JOB FAIR

 

Veronica Lupercio & Veronica Gonzalez, seniors, at UIW attend the job fair. The Career Services Staff was in charge of recruiting and registering all the employers for this years job fair.

Valerie Hooge, Career Services Director, is proud to announce that UIW had the second highest enrollment of students participating the in the SACUPA Job Fair on Thursday, Nov. 21. UTSA, came in first with 167 students, with UIW close behind with 128 students.

When you consider percentages, UIW was the winner, considering UTSA has over 20,000 students enrolled.
