TRIO Student Success Program

Cardinals 1st Mentor Program

Mentor & Mentee Events

The TRiO Student Success Cardinals 1st Mentor Program at UIW actively engages our students in the learning process.  Our program encourages personal and collective student responsibility through our mentor & mentee events.  These events are holistic, educational, and cultural in nature, as they promote the growth of our student's intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, creative and spiritual potentials.  Our mentor program events promote student retention by encouraging active participation from first year students who are paired with mentors and joined together for activity events and “group think” exercises that are both educational and fun!

*For All TRiO events, we meet in the TRiO Lab, AD 225 at the designated start time. Your transportation is included! *
