What is your retirement plan?
If you are planning for retirement, or even if you’re already there, consider a Charitable Gift Annuity. For alumni and friends who depend on the income received from CDs, you will see that a gift annuity can provide twice the return today as traditional CDs. For example, if you are 78, you would receive a 6.7 percent return for life on a $10,000 annuity. Donors receive an immediate tax deduction, and part of each payment is tax-free. After your lifetime, UIW receives the remainder.
