Sr. Kathleen Coughlin, CCVI, vice president of institutional advancement, welcomed the university community to the dedication of the Friendship Garden Friday, May 11 at the oak tree adjacent to the Agnese/Sosa Building. The dedication was sponsored by Barbara and Alan Dreeben in honor of their lifetime friends Tena Gorman, Peggy Lewis, and Ruth Eilene Sullivan. The newly landscaped area will provide a peaceful place for students to meet with friends under the canopy of an oak tree believed to be over 500 years old.
