At the University of Incarnate Word, graduate students experience a flexible and an interactive learning opportunity, with a low faculty-to-graduate-student ratio offered within the setting of a private university that offers a liberal education. The University of Incarnate Word community strives to provide students with an accessible, diverse and an engaging learning environment allowing students to grow both personally and professionally, while stimulating their intellectual curiosities.
Graduate Admission Procedure:
When the Office of Admissions receives the required credentials, they are then submitted to the program director for evaluation and recommendation for a decision. The Dean of Research and Graduate Studies will notify the applicant via mail regarding the action taken upon the application. Once accepted, students will be assigned a graduate program advisor for advising and registration.
Admission decisions are official and valid for one calendar year, from the original date of acceptance into the desired graduate or doctoral program.
Credentials submitted for admission become the sole property of the University of the Incarnate Word and will not be returned under any circumstances.
The University of the Incarnate Word reserves the right to refuse admission to an applicant or to request the withdrawal of a student enrolled in a program for purposes deemed adequate by the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies.
