Password Guidelines

• Avoid commonly known information  (nicknames, birthdays)
• Make the password at least 8 characters long with letters, numbers, and special characters
• Never write down a password (Write down a hint)
• Never give out your password
• Always log out of your computer or lock your screen when you leave your desk (CTRL + ALT + DEL)
• If you use a spreadsheet to keep up with multiple passwords, password protect the Excel spreadsheet with a strong password
