Cardinal Mascot Logo

• The University of the Incarnate Word uses three versions of the Cardinal mascot, each with its own color schemes. 
• The Athletic Cardinal is to be used solely for the UIW Athletics Department and all publications, signage, advertisements, etc., that pertain to UIW Athletics.
• The Standard Cardinal, which has two versions, is to be used in all other cases for UIW publications, signage, advertisements, etc. Either of the standard versions may be used in university publications.
• The Cardinal must not be redrawn, reproportioned, distorted or modified in any way.
• Elements within the mascot design may not be changed or moved.
• The standard colors for the Cardinal mascot are Pantone 1797 (red), Pantone 150 (beak yellow) and black.  Examples of the correct Cardinal versions are shown below.  No other colors may be used to represent the mascot.
