International Student ID Card (ISIC)

The Study Abroad Office issues International Student ID Card to both UIW and non-UIW students.

What is the International Student Identity Card (ISIC)?

ISIC is the only internationally accepted student ID card and proof of current student status in existence. There is also the International Teacher Identity Card (ITIC) and the International Youth Travel Card (IYTC). These cards provide a world of benefits and services to the nearly 5 million people worldwide every year. More than an ID card, they also offer:

• Discounts to more than 33,000 locations in 103 countries
• Mobile phone and a calling card communications package
• Insurance plan
• Emergency help line

The cost of the card is $22.00 for UIW students and $25.00 for non-UIW students and the validity is for one year. Applications must be submitted with:

• Two passport-size photos (with name printed in ink on the back)
• Proof of student status
• Proof of age (Drivers License and/or Passport)
• Payment (Cash, check, or money order)

Cost: $22 for UIW students
         $25 for non-UIW students
