Summer 2009 BeginUIW Scholarship Application

Begin UIW is an exciting program the University offers to first-time freshmen needing to take MATH 0318 and ENGL 0312. Students who are accepted into the program have the opportunity to complete both of these courses in only four weeks during the summer, giving them the chance to get ahead in their studies. This scholarship is for students who wish to reside on campus and attend the session: July 13 – August 7, 2009: Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Students who receive the scholarship will have room, board, tuition and books covered. Scholarship recipients must agree to attend all class sessions and student success programming including day and evening study hall sessions, and evening activities specially designed to acquaint new students with life at UIW. Scholarships applications are due by June 15 but students are encouraged to apply early as awards will be made as applications are received.
