Campus Activities Board (CAB)
The role of CAB is to provide fun learning experiences that are culturally diverse, social and recreational for the UIW community. Examples include the Cardinal Carnival, Glow-n-Foam Party, Halloween Haunted House, tournaments, and trips. Prospective CAB members must attend a CAB general membership meeting and work on one of CAB's committees. However, Executive Officers are appointed and must go through an application interview process.

University Mission and Ministry Peer Ministers
These students come together to share their faith, learn from others of different faiths and give back to their communities. University Mission and Ministry provides a good outlet for fulfilling community service. In addition, scholarships are available on a competitive basis.

Student Ambassadors
Student Ambassadors assist the Office of Admissions in recruitment, retention, and orientation of new students. They foster a sense of community among students and visitors and act as official representatives of UIW. As Ambassadors, students gain valuable leadership skills, develop pride in the university, and meet new people. Applications are available each fall semester, and applicants go through an interview process with organization members and university staff.

Student Government Association
SGA is the voice of the student body at the University of the Incarnate Word. Students elect officers every spring. Representatives from each class and school, called senators, are elected and appointed each fall. As the student liaison, SGA presents student concerns and interests on many issues and facilitates understanding and cooperation with the faculty and administration. All students are welcome to participate in SGA-sponsored events, such as the annual Golden Harvest food drive.
