Members of this group promote the African-American and raise the awareness of fellow students on campus. BSA sponsors activities during Black History Month and participates in other community events. An ongoing project has members visiting area high schools to mentor and encourage African-Americans to further their education and promote the university; a shadow program is now in development.

Chinese Student Association INACTIVE
Chinese citizens and those interested in China and its culture will find a home within this club. The members strive to promote the Chinese culture through social and cultural activities and to connect with other Chinese student organization in San Antonio.
Hispanic Latino Association
This organization is newly formed on the UIW campus. It was initiated by the Hispanic Latino student population and is interested in promoting awareness through education and participation in many diverse Hispanic Latino related
cultural
events.

Join this cross-section of the UIW community for exposure to many different countries and ethnicities. Foreign and American students cultivate relationships with each other in order to promote diversity and on campus. For more information, please contact 805-5700.
Multicultural Greek Alliance
This organization explores the history and purpose of Greek letter organizations, and serve as a starting point for potential members. Students from transfer institutions who have joined Greek organizations are able to sponsor events and activities through the MGA.

Taiwanese Student/Sports Association INACTIVE
Vietnamese Student Association
VSA strives to extend the Vietnamese culture into the community while fostering all other ethnicities by means of community services and educational events. By educating the students with Vietnamese cultures these activities will also help students interested in studying abroad in Vietnam. The organization will provide for further ethnic understanding of the Vietnamese people at the University.
