Students - Planning an on-campus event for your club or organization and need tables and chairs?  You can fill out the Student Event Equipment Request and email to spevents@uiwtx.edu.

Requirements for approval:

  • Submit request 20 days prior to event date
  • Approval from Campus Engagement
  • Approval from Advisor

Faculty and Staff - UIW faculty and staff who need delivery and/or setup of event equipment on main campus are encouraged to submit an Event Equipment Request. For all office moves requests submit a Move Request. Email requests to spevents@uiwtx.edu.

UIW 5K Run/Walk

The office of Special Events will be the clearinghouse for all 5K Run/Walk requests. All requests must be submitted to the Director of Special Events at least 3 months in advance of the intended date. All campus Run/Walks may only take place on Saturday and Sunday (limited to morning hours only).

Non-UIW affiliated persons, groups, and organizations are not permitted to host a Run/Walk on campus unless they are invited to co-sponsor the event by a Student Organization or University entity.

Run/Walks will not be allowed on Commencement weekends, Light the Way and home football games.
