Medical education can be demanding and stressful, requiring changes in lifestyle, planning, and coping.  To manage these changes, it is important for our learners to know there is support available through our counseling services.

Counseling Services at Brooks City Base Campus

How to set up an appointment:

1.) Call 210-832-5656 (YOU MUST MENTION that you are a UIWSOM Medical Campus student making an appointment for the medial campus)

2.) Appointment times: Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

3.) Counseling is completely confidential

Office is located in Building 1, room B151.

A resource for learners with the UIW student insurance that can be accessed 24/7. Students can call @ 1-888-857-5462 to speak with a counselor at any time. They can also connect on the CHP student health mobile app.
