RESIDENCY COORDINATOR

Born and raised on the Gulf Coast of Texas, I am the Residency Coordinator for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine. I graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. While attending TAMUCC I was active in the Health Science Association through which I was able to attend educational conferences and be involved in the school community.

Upon graduation, I worked as a Continuing Medical Education Coordinator for the South Coastal Area Health Education Center. The SCAHEC is a private institution responsible for improving access to healthcare as well as to train health professionals to practice in medically underserved areas. As CME Coordinator, I was instrumental in the planning and organizing of 6 annual CME conferences in Corpus Christi and the South Texas Region. My other duties included teaching health education courses in neighboring counties and assisting with local community events.

I’m honored and excited to be a part of the new School of Osteopathic Medicine.
