Marsha Sellner

DIRECTOR OF GRADUATE MEDICAL EDUCATION

Marsha A. SellnerMarsha Sellner is the Director of Graduate Medical Education for the University of the Incarnate Word School of Medicine.  Prior to joining UIWSOM she served as  the Executive Director of Rocky Mountain Osteopathic Postdoctoral Training Institute (RMOPTI) and the Executive Director of the Department of Graduate Medical Education at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, Colorado.  She was instrumental in developing multiple osteopathic residency programs in the greater Denver area and along the Colorado Front Range.  She also coordinated the creation of programs in Utah and Idaho and other underserved areas of the Mountain West region.  During her 8 years at RVUCOM she served as GME coordinator and the Administrative Director of GME. 

Before entering the medical education field, Marsha served as a corporate Accountant for eleven years.  After leaving corporate America, she began her career in education by serving as a substitute Teacher and Special Education specialist with Cherry Creek Schools in the Denver area.  Marsha holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University in Denver.
