Amanda Galán-Davila, Ph.D.
Dr. Amanda Galán-Davila is an adjunct faculty member teaching Advanced Cell Biology and Biochemistry in UIWSOM’s Department of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Galán received her doctoral degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio where she investigated the molecular regulation of adiponectin signaling on insulin sensitivity in diet-induced insulin resistance and aging with a special emphasis on the liver.
