  • Brief Academic and Teaching History

    Jan 2014-July 2017. Clinical instructor at UT Health for first semester nursing students, including traditional and accelerated tracks. Focus was on fundamentals of nursing, clinical course and health assessment lab. Repeated these courses for ten semesters.

    Jan 2014- July 2017. Taught periodically in theory courses, including Nutrition for the Hospitalized Adult and several topics in Health Assessment, theory course.

    August 2017. Instructor at University of Incarnate Word. Assigned to third semester students for Adult II clinical rotation and first semester students for Health Assessment lab (BHA).

    I am a former, United States Air Force nurse. As a new graduate from Ohio State University, I joined the Air Force then spent eight years in the military. Currently, I enjoy spending time with my three children, dogs and husband. I am an active volunteer for many organizations including the Boys Scouts of America and the O’Connor High School marching band.
