  • Brief Academic and Teaching History

    I joined the University of the Incarnate Word Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing & Health Professions in 2004 after graduation from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio with a PhD. Since that time I have taught across all of the nursing programs (BSN, MSN, DNP) and internationally to graduate students in Monterrey, Mexico. Over the years, I have taught using a variety of modalities (i.e. face-to-face format, blended and online).
