    I have been teaching Allied Health Courses, Associate Degree & BSN level Nursing programs, as well as RN to BSN degree programs since 2001. My specialty areas are Fundamentals of Nursing/Med Surg, Maternal Child Nursing, & Distance Learning.

    I serve my profession as an Assigned Advocate for participants enrolled in the Texas Peer Assistance Program for Nurses (TPAPN) and volunteer with the San Antonio Purple Heart Organization that often assists with the VA’s wounded warriors.  I also serve on the BSN Curriculum and Assessment committees for the Ila Faye Miller School of Nursing in the undergraduate program.
