  • Brief Academic and Teaching History

    Graduating from the last class of the Incarnate Word College before becoming the University of the Incarnate Word, Norma Green Gutierrez has been in the field of nuclear medicine technology for over 20 years. Prior to a career in higher education, Norma served as a nuclear medicine technologist at Christus Santa Rosa Hospital and Northeast Methodist Hospital. She currently serves as the Program Director of the Nuclear Medicine Science program located within the School of Nursing and Health Professions.

    Norma has been a site evaluator for the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology for over 7 years as well as a site evaluator for the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools for over 4 years promoting educational excellence. Norma has been named to the “Who’s Who Among American Teachers” twice.
