An overview of grant-related offices, services, and procedures at UIW covering Foundation, Corporate, and Government Relations, Grants Accounting, and the Office of Research Development. This workshop will provide attendees with a basic knowledge of both pre- and post-award processes to aid in their search for and execution of sponsored projects. Designed for faculty and students.
Who should be an author? This interactive presentation and discussion focuses on standards and practices for responsible authorship and offers case study discussion featuring relevant issues for both faculty and students who wish to publish collaborative pieces. Designed for faculty and students.
A walkthrough of account setup, searches, and automated alerts in the funding database platform. This workshop will familiarize attendees with effective use of search parameters and features for narrowing down thousands of funding opportunities to those most relevant to their line of research. Designed for faculty investigators.
This workshop will provide attendees with a basic knowledge of current University resources (Pivot and Papers Invited) and searchable databases for research funding, presentations, and publication opportunities; assist in identifying appropriate opportunities for graduate students; and outline resources for seeking support in the development of competitive applications.
