Feb. 12. Special Event. Texas Folklife Festival
presents the 18th Annual Asian Festival . ITC Building and Grounds. Celebrate
the Year of the Rooster with the Asian community of South Texas with martial
arts demonstrations, ethnic dance presentations, mouth-watering entrees
and more. Included with admission.10:00 am to 5:00 pm. 801 South Bowie St, San Antonio. Admission $7 (adults) $4 (child 3-12)
An
Asian New Year Celebration, will be held from 12-3 p.m. Feb.
8 in the Marian Hall Ballroom. Festivities will include ethnic food;
talented student performances and a fashion show organized by Korean students.From 4-5 p.m., the celebration will continue
at the ICC, where refreshments including Asian desserts will be served
Chinese Year Celebration
The San Antonio Chinese Student Association (SACSSA) will host a celebration
at 6:30 p.m., Feb. 12 in Marian Hall
Ballroom.The annual Spring Festival will include
a number of activities for people of all ages. The evening will feature
a traditional lion dance bringing good luck and happiness to all who attend.
Other festivities include a live band, riddle solving, singing, dancing
and a traditional Chinese Costume Show. Refreshments will be provided.For more information, contactWinnie

2005 Chinese New Year CelebrationUIW EVENT The San Antonio Chinese Student- Scholar Association
(SACSSA) is holding this year Spring Festival Party on February 12 (Saturday).
It will be a joyful night featuring lion dance, band music, riddle solving,
lots of singing and dancing, and a traditional Chinese Costume show. Drinks
and fruits will be served. Come join us, celebrate the Year of Rooster
