Itza Casanova, Administrative Assistant to the Provost Itza Casanova

Itza Casanova joined the UIW community in 1992 as a member of the staff at Incarnate Word High School where she served as the Principal’s secretary. In 1999, she joined the staff of the Office of the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, assisting Dr. Light with various administrative and clerical tasks. Interaction with students, faculty, and university employees is as fulfilling and rewarding now as it was when she began.

Itza and John, her husband, are native San Antonians. They enjoy family activities with their three daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren!
