Faculty Development

A major hallmark of the Provost is the emphasis on faculty development, as evidenced in active fundraising activities with the goal of the creation of a faculty endowment of $1 million. Additionally, the Provost either chairs or participates in selection committees that recognize academic teaching excellence and the proactive development of faculty members through funded opportunities for research, study and travel.
