Office of the Provost

Assessment

The objective assessment of academic programs is a major Provost responsibility. Assessment requires the periodic reporting and evaluation of academic programs through a defined process. A university Assessment Committee, made up of senior representatives from all of the Schools and College, provide an experienced level of objective oversight and evaluation of academic programs.

Specific processes, the current program review schedule, examples of program review submissions and evaluations, and minutes from the Assessment Committee meetings are found on the University Blackboard site, which is open to authorized university personnel.
