Damita Pape

Executive Assistant to the President

                

     Damita Pape has been the Executive Assistant to the President at the University of the Incarnate Word since April 2000. She is the liaison between the President and the internal and external communities.

     Prior to joining the Incarnate Word community, Ms. Pape had worked at the San Antonio Express-News, Guess? Jeans at the Dallas Apparel Mart in Dallas, Texas and Bealls Department Stores buying offices in Irving, Texas.

     Born in Lucedale, Mississippi, her father’s career moved them overseas, mainly Scotland and Norway where she graduated from Stavanger American School.  She has two children, daughter Tyler Rayne, and a son, Tanner Cole.
