Sr. Audrey O'Mahoney
Assistant to the President/Mission Effectiveness
Sister Audrey OMahony, CCVI, has been Assistant to the President/Mission Effectiveness at the University of the Incarnate Word since 2000.
A member of the President's Executive Council, Sr. OMahony facilitates clear articulation of the Mission statement, its core values and Incarnational theology so that integration can occur in the professional and personal lives of members of the UIW community. She also is responsible for fostering a greater awareness of, and appreciation for, the history, heritage and values of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word as the underpinning of the UIW Mission and culture.
Sr. OMahony has previously served UIW in a variety of capacities, including Assistant Registrar, Executive Director of International Academic Programs, and Dean of Graduate Studies and Academic Services. She also served as a General Councilor in the CCVI General Council Administration.
She is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Christus St. Patricks Hospital in Lake Charles, LA; the Christus SRHCC Quality Management Committee; the Christus Health Education Fund Committee, and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities. She previously served as a Board member at Santa Rosa Childrens Hospital and at Spohn-Kleberg Memorial Hospital.
Sr. OMahony has an Ed.D. in Organization and Leadership in Higher Education from the University of San Francisco. She also has a Master of Arts in English Literature from the Catholic University of America, and a Bachelor of Arts (cum laude) in Secondary Education from Incarnate Word College.
