Stephanie Thurmond received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2002 from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, TX. She has worked in the outpatient orthopedic setting in San Antonio, TX for the last 11 years. Along the way she became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist through the Institute of Physical Art in 2005, and a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist in 2011 with an emphasis in Spine from the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine. She also received her Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2011.

Her areas of interest include manual therapy, neurodynamics, and the use of neuromuscular reeducation in an orthopedic setting.
