Alejandra Zertuche joined the Academic Affairs Department of the Feik School of Pharmacy in 2012. She is a distinguished graduate of St. Mary’s University, whereupon, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering in 2008 and her Masters of Business Administration in 2012.

While Ms. Zertuche was completing her Masters Degree, she took the role of Statistics Data Operator at the Feik School of Pharmacy, as well as, being a Graduate Assistant for the Academic Technology Services Department at St. Mary’s University. Prior to this experience she was an Industrial Engineer/Project Management for Schlemmer USA Inc. from 2008 to 2010.

Ms. Zertuche’s combined academic and professional experience provide her with a diverse knowledge in gathering, presenting, and interpreting data for decision-making, analysis, and continuous improvement of these processes. She worked with the Assessment Committee to produce assessment and accreditation reports.

Ms. Zertuche was born and raised in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. In her spare time, Ms. Zertuche enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking, and reading. Exercising is also one of her extracurricular activities that has allowed her to lead a well-balanced healthy lifestyle. On the other hand, volunteering within her community is something that has allowed Ms. Zertuche to realize where her values stand and how lucky she is to have the education she holds.
