Dr. Raghunandan Yendapally obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 2001 from the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Kakatiya University, India. In 2007, he has received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (Medicinal Chemistry) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis.

Prior to joining the Feik School of Pharmacy at the University of the Incarnate Word, Dr. Yendapally served as a founding faculty member at the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy and Western New England University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Yendapally was the recipient of the Teacher of the Year Award in 2009 and 2010 at the Sullivan University College of Pharmacy. His scholarly accomplishments include peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and poster presentations, and he is the holder of two patents. Dr. Yendapally’s research interests include design and synthesis of novel small molecule anti-microbial agents.
