Dr. William Linn completed his pre-pharmacy coursework at Texas A & M University in College Station, TX. He then graduated from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in 1977. Dr. Linn completed the 36-month post-baccalaureate Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1981. He has been a faculty member in the University of Texas College of Pharmacy, Division of Pharmacotherapy from 1981 until May, 2008. Dr. Linn has 24 years of experience as a primary care clinical specialist at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. He has served as the major professor for over 25 post-doctoral trainees. Dr. Linn has authored numerous publications and is the senior editor of a new textbook; Pharmacotherapy in Primary Care.

Dr. Linn is a member of several organizations and has served on national committees. He received the prestigious Association of Military Surgeons of the United States Award for clinical excellence and the University of Texas College of Pharmacy’s Preceptor of the Year Award. Dr. Linn’s interests include evidence-based medicine and outcomes research.
