Dr. Witte is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She received her Pharm.D. degree from The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in May 2004. Dr. Witte completed an ASHP-accredited residency in Pharmacy Practice at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in San Antonio, TX in June 2005 and an ASHP-accredited residency in Primary Care at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in July 2006. During her residency years, Dr. Witte was appointed as a Clinical Instructor with The University of Texas College of Pharmacy and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She is also currently employed on the weekends as a community pharmacist with Walgreens.

Dr. Witte is a member of several professional organizations, including American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Texas Society of Health System Pharmacists (TSHP), and Central Texas Society of Health System Pharmacists (CTSHP). Her specialty practice and research interests are in metabolic syndrome and diabetes.
