Dr. Lopez is the Director of the Drug Information Service in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. Dr. Lopez continued her education at the University of Texas at Austin with a combined Master of Science in Pharmacy and Specialty Residency in Drug Information. She then accepted a position with the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics Drug Information Service in Salt Lake City Utah. In 2006, Dr. Lopez transferred her focus to managing warfarin patients at the Redwood Anticoagulation Clinic within the University of Utah Health System. Her areas of interests include drug information, anticoagulation, informatics, and biostatistics.
