BLAIR SARBACKER

Dr. Sarbacker joins the Feik School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice. She currently practices as a clinical pharmacist on the ACE Unit at CHRISTUS Santa Rosa and in the UT Senior Health Clinic.

Dr. Sarbacker received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Wingate University School of Pharmacy. She completed an ASHP-accredited residency in Community Pharmacy Practice at the Community Healthcare Center by Kerr Drug in Lenoir, NC, in association with Wingate University School of Pharmacy. There she participated in medication therapy management for geriatric patient and also served as a care provider in the Asheville Project.  Dr. Sarbacker has completed certificate training in the areas of over-the-counter medication, immunizations, hypertension, and anticoagulation.

Dr. Sarbacker is a member of several professional organizations, including American Pharmacists Association (APhA), American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI), Rho Chi, and Phi Delta Chi (PDC). Her areas of interest include geriatrics, ambulatory care, and self-care.  Her main research focuses on the use of anticholinergic medications in the geriatric population
