Dr. Kreys joins the Feik School of Pharmacy as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2003.  She then attended the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2007.  Prior to beginning her residency training, she worked as a retail pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and also served as Adjunct Faculty at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Dr. Kreys completed a General Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in 2009 and a Psychiatry Specialty Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2010. 

Dr. Kreys is an active member of the Consumer Relations committee of the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP) and a member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).  Her areas of interest include mood and thought disorders.  Dr. Kreys is also interested in outcomes research focused on optimizing medication therapy in the psychiatric patient population.  She has conducted research on atypical antipsychotics and treatment continuation in bipolar disorder and has evaluated outpatient adherence rates with long-acting injectable antipsychotic therapy in patients with schizophrenia.  She has also received teaching certificates from both the University of Pittsburgh and the Medical University of South Carolina.  During her free time, Dr. Kreys volunteers at indigent outpatient psychiatric clinics.
