Dr. David F. Maize joins the faculty as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Maize graduated with a bachelor’s degree with honors in
pharmacy from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA in 1991. He then attended West Virginia University and received his doctorate in Pharmacology / Toxicology in 1996. His specialty is pulmonary pharmacology.
In 1996, Dr. Maize was hired as one of the founding faculty members of the Nesbitt School of Pharmacy at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
He has had a wide variety of teaching responsibilities at the school including pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and pharmacy business. In 2002, he was promoted to Associate Professor and assumed the role of Director of Assessment and Outreach (Continuing Education and Alumni). Dr. Maize received 6 Outstanding Teacher Awards while at Wilkes. He also received many additional awards at Wilkes and was a founding member of the University Assessment Committee.
Dr. Maize holds memberships in many professional organizations including: Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society, Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, NCPA and American Thoracic Society. He is a member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and was the advisor for the chapter. During his time as advisor, the chapter was in the top 5 in the nation for 5 consecutive years. While at Wilkes, he was a member of the Pennsylvania Pharmacist Association, Luzerne County Pharmacists Association (past President and Secretary) and a board member of the local chapter of the American Lung Association. Dr. Maize holds training certificates in asthma awareness, smoking cessation and HIV education.
MARK GRANBERRY

Dr. Mark Granberry joins the faculty as Assistant Dean and Chair, Pharmacy Practice.
Dr. Granberry received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
degree from the University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy in 1978. He practiced as a hospital pharmacist for several years before he returned to the University of Arkansas College of Pharmacy and received a Pharm.D. degree in 1994. He completed residencies in Pharmacy Practice and Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy.
Dr. Granberry then joined the faculty at University of Arkansas for College of Pharmacy. His primary teaching assignment was cardiology related, including coordinating an ambulatory lipid clinic. He also conducted several clinical research projects.
Dr. Granberry comes to UIW from the University of Texas —Pan American in Edinburg, Texas where he was an Associate Professor in the Cooperative Pharmacy Program.
Dr. Granberry has numerous publications, presentations, and activities of service to his academic institutions and the communities in which he has lived. His is a member of several professional organizations, including AACP, ACCP, and the American Heart Association. He is Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
KATHY WEBSTER Assistant Dean, Chair and Professor, Pharmaceutical Sciences
Dr. Kathy D. Webster joins the faculty as Assistant Dean and
Chair, Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Webster graduated with a PharmD degree from University of the Pacific, Stockton, CA in 1978. She received her Ph.D. in medicinal chemistry from the University of Minnesota, School of Pharmacy, Minneapolis, MN in 1986, her thesis work focused on the development of analytical procedures and the study of mechanisms of drug metabolism.
Dr. Webster completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship with Dr. MW Anders at the University of Rochester where she was supported with a March of Dimes Fellowship and an NIEHS NRSA Fellowship.
In 1988, Dr. Webster joined the faculty at Campbell University School of Pharmacy where she developed the medicinal chemistry curriculum. She facilitated the integration of the pharmacology and medicinal chemistry courses and served as course-master and instructor in numerous modules. Dr Webster had a prominent role on the curriculum committee, the student affairs committee and two self-study committees. Dr. Webster was promoted to Associate Professor in 1995. She has received several teaching and research awards, in addition to receiving numerous research and community educational grants. While at Campbell, Dr. Webster helped start a B.S. and M.S. programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences, middle school science enrichment and wellness programs, a diabetes resource web page, a pharmaceutical analysis laboratory for small companies and compounding pharmacies, and a contract research facility.
Dr. Webster has memberships in many professional organizations including: American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity for women, Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society, American Chemical Society,
Dr. Webster participated in many community activities including: a member of local school, daycare, and county advisory committees; science fair judge and Science Olympiad coach; Girl Scout leader and active church member.
Dr. Webster is married to her pharmacy school sweetheart, David Webster, and they have four children.
RENEE BELLANGER
Assistant Professor, Pharmacy Practice

Dr. Bellanger has practiced pharmacy for
many years in
hospitals and ambulatory care settings
and is licensed in Texas and Louisiana. She received
a B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at
Monroe and a Pharm. D. degree from the University of
Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Health Science
Center at San Antonio. She completed an ASHP-accredited
residency in hospital pharmacy at Harris Hospital -Methodist
in Fort Worth, TX and a residency in pediatric pharmacy
practice at the University of Oklahoma. She obtained
board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy in
1992.
Dr. Bellanger has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy administration, clinical pharmacy management and directing pharmacy residency
experiences for domestic and international residents. Her
specialty practice interests are in neonatology, pediatrics
and nutrition. She was installed into the Alpha Epsilon
chapter of the Kappa Epsilon fraternity as an undergraduate. She
is a member of AACP, ACCP, ASHP,
TSHP and CTSHP.
CARMITA COLEMAN

Dr. Carmita Coleman joins the faculty as Assistant Dean for
Student Affairs and Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice.
Dr. Coleman holds a bachelors degree in chemistry from the University of New Orleans and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree with honors from Xavier University. Dr. Coleman completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Hermann Hospital, Houston, Texas.
In 1999, Dr. Coleman joined the faculty at the Hampton University School of Pharmacy where she developed and taught a variety of courses, including the integrated components of Drug and Disease management. Dr. Coleman led the development of the Rho Chi chapter at Hampton University, and contributed significantly to student involvement in VPhA, VSHP, NPhA, and other organizations. Dr. Coleman’s level of personal activity with the professional organizations led to her election to President – elect of the Virginia Society of Health System Pharmacists for 2004. She is the secretary for NPhA.
Dr. Coleman has been involved in research since her days as a resident. She recently received a grant from the Merck Foundation to conduct research in Video Telepharmacy. Her grant was one of the 8, nationwide, selected for funding. Dr. Coleman has numerous presentations to her credit and a noteworthy collection of publications.
Most recently, Dr. Coleman was Assistant Professor and Director of Continuing Education at Hampton University School of Pharmacy in Hampton, Virginia.
Dr. Coleman holds membership in a many of professional organizations including the American Pharmaceutical Association, American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists, Kappa Epsilon Pharmacy Fraternity for women, Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society, and Phi Lambda Sigma Pharmacy Leadership Society.

Dr. Jeffrey Copeland joins the faculty as Director of Experiential Education and Assistant Professor.\

While a Captain in the Army, Dr. Copeland married Julie, his beloved wife.
Throughout his pharmacy career, Dr. Copeland has served as a staff, relief, and clinical pharmacist, directed pharmacy education, and served as an Administrator for ACPE. He is a member of Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society, Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity, TSHP, and CTSHP and is a Kappa Epsilon Fraternity Big Brother.

Dr. Kathy Martin joins the Feik School of Pharmacy as Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her training is in Pharmaceutics, the study of dosage forms and drug delivery.
Dr. Martin holds a bachelors degree in Chemistry from Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin. Dr. Martin earned Master of Science (1992) and Doctor of Philosophy (1995) degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include evaluation of the stability of medications compounded in community pharmacy and new ways to involve student pharmacists in applying pharmaceutics knowledge and skills to contemporary pharmacy practice.
Dr. Martin brings 10 years of teaching experience to the Feik School of Pharmacy. In addition to teaching pharmaceutics courses, including the design, preparation and evaluation of dosage forms for individual patients, Dr. Martin has developed and implemented many courses during years spent at Butler University (1994-2001) and the St. Louis College of Pharmacy (2001-2005). Courses developed and taught include Introduction to Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacy Calculations, Biopharmaceutics and Basic Pharmacokinetics. Dr. Martin enjoys laboratory based courses because they afford the opportunity for her to work closely with individual students.
Dr. Martin is active in professional organizations, including the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and the American Pharmacists Association (APhA). She particularly enjoys working with the students in APhA-Academy of Student Pharmacists, and looks forward to continued interactions with students in professional organizations.
Dr. Martin has three wonderful young adults in college. Cynthia is a Music Education major (senior) at DePauw University in Indiana. Robert is a Army Reserve Firefighter and junior at Webster University in Missouri, and Daniel is a Computer Sciences major (freshman) at Central Methodist University in Missouri.
ANITA MOSLEY Assistant Professor, Pharmaceutical Sciences amosley@uiwtx.edu
Dr. Mosley joins the faculty as an assistant professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Mosley earned a BS in Chemistry from Alabama State
University in 1991 and a PhD in Industrial and Physical Pharmacy from Purdue University in 1998. She then joined the faculty of Campbell University School of Pharmacy where she taught several courses in the BS and MS degree programs. In 2000, she received the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Her research interests include drug solubilization, nanoparticle technology and dosage form design.
Dr. Mosley is a member of the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. She has represented the university as the delegate to the USP Convention. She has also served as faculty advisor for several student organizations including Student National Pharmaceutical Association, Kappa Epsilon, and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering. She was also appointed chair of the university’s Multi-Cultural Council and worked in an advisory capacity for Pre-Pharmacy, BSPS and MSPS students.

David joins the faculty as an Assistant Professor in Pharmacy Practice.
David received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Albright College, Reading, PA in 1996. He then attended Temple University School of Pharmacy and graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy.
He practiced as a community pharmacist upon graduation at Wal-Mart in Reading, PA before his promotion to Pharmacy District Manager in 2001 in Virginia Beach, VA. His responsibilities included Operations, Merchandising, Human Resources, and Training.
In 2003, David was promoted to Manager of Pharmacy Recruiting for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. at the Home Office in Bentonville, AR. He was responsible for overseeing the recruitment program for pharmacists at over 3600 Wal-Mart pharmacy locations. In 2005, David was promoted to Manager of Professional Recruiting and given the additional responsibility for managing the recruitment program for Optometrists at over 2500 Wal-Mart Vision Centers.
David has received awards for District Manager of the Quarter, Lowest Pharmacist Turnover, and Top Gun for financial performance. He is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Pharmacy Times magazine. David is especially proud of the Annual AACP Student/Faculty Conference Scholarship Program he collaborated on with Dr. Lucinda Maine while working at Wal-Mart.
David is a member of several professional organizations including AACP, APHA, ASHP, NCPA, NPHA, Rho Chi Honor Society, and Kappa Psi Pharmacy Fraternity. David volunteered as an Area Director for Rebuilding Together in NW Arkansas.
David is married to his college sweetheart Donna and has a son Joshua. He has 10 pharmacists in his family including his parents.

Rosalinda comes to the Feik School of Pharmacy with 20 years of
administrative/secretarial experience, most recently, this past year, she served as secretary for The McNair Scholars Program at the University of The Incarnate Word. Prior to joining UIW she served as Administrative Assistant to the CFO at the Diocese of Galveston/Houston and Secretary to the Catechetical Center for the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
Rosalinda, a native of San Antonio, resided in the Houston area for 22 years where she gained her experience working in the secretarial arena of: Insurance, Offshore Technology, Chemical packaging, Building Management, Accounting and Finance.

her Bachelors degree in Early Childhood at UIW and her Master’s in Counseling at UTSA. Kristen has been involved with the School of Pharmacy since Fall 2004. She loves working with the students. Her passion is in education and watching people reach their dreams.
