Dr. Bellanger has practiced pharmacy for many years in hospitals and ambulatory care settings and is licensed in Texas and Louisiana.  She received a B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and a Pharm. D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  She completed an ASHP-accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at Harris Hospital -Methodist in Fort Worth, TX and a residency in pediatric pharmacy practice at the University of Oklahoma.  She has maintained board certification in Nutrition Support Pharmacy since 1992.

Dr. Bellanger has extensive experience in hospital pharmacy administration, clinical pharmacy management and directing pharmacy residency experiences for domestic and international residents.  Her specialty practice interests are in neonatology, pediatrics and nutrition support.  She was installed into the Alpha Epsilon chapter of the Kappa Epsilon fraternity.  She is a member of AACP, ACCP, APhA, ASHP, TSHP and CTSHP. 

She has taught in a variety of courses at the Feik School of Pharmacy including Professional Development Skills for pre-pharmacy and transfer students, Applied Pharmaceutical Care, Pharmacotherapeutics (special populations, DEENT, fluids).
