DIANA SALAZAR

Diana was born and raised in San Antonio Texas.  After a number of years as administrative assistant/secretary in the corporate sector and the higher education institutions, she assumed her current position as Secretary to the Assistant Dean/Chair for the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department at Feik School of Pharmacy in January 2007.   She also provides secretarial support to the faculty.  Diana has been with the University of the Incarnate Word since 2001.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology of Organizational Development with the University of the Incarnate Word in 2008.

Diana is a member of International Administrative Assistant Professionals (IAAP).   She served as Co-Chair for the Fiesta Oyster Bake and as Fiesta Commission Volunteer since 1992. She received the Staff of the Year Award from the School of Pharmacy 2010.  Her personal interests include traveling, water aerobic, movies, and cooking.
