Dr. Patricia Lieveld is currently a Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the Feik School of Pharmacy (University of the Incarnate Word).

Dr. Lieveld received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Arnold and Marie Schwarz College of Pharmacy at Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York.  She then completed an American Society of Hospital Pharmacists General Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.  Dr. Lieveld received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. 

Dr. Lieveld currently coordinates the Pharmacy Communication and Introduction to Pharmacy Care courses. In addition, she coordinates and is the primary instructor in the Principles of Public Health course. Her current areas of interest include global health, and women’s health issues, particularly in the area of the accessing of safe water in rural villages in Bukoba, Tanzania.
