Staff and Student/Work-study employees are paid twice each month. The pay cycle for staff and student/work-study employees are as follows: (1) time worked from the 1st through the 15th of each month is paid on the following 22nd, (2) time worked from the 16th through the end of the month is paid on the following 7th of the month. If payday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the payday will be the previous Friday.
The pay cycle for Administrators/Faculty is completed at the end of the month with pay issued on the same day. If a payday falls on a holiday or weekend paychecks will be issued the last workday prior to the holiday or weekend.
The Payroll Office is responsible for distribution of payroll checks. Employees should check their paycheck stub/direct deposit voucher to ensure hours worked, pay rate, vacation and sick accrual and deductions are correct. If an employee notices an error on their paycheck, the employee should immediately report the error to his/her supervisor, as well as the Payroll Office.
