The RN-BSN Degree Completion Program
The RN-BSN program is designed for students with at least 6 months of
experience as a registered nurse. Students usually take 6 credit hours
each 8-week term. Major nursing courses are taught online. The nursing
courses may be completed in one calendar year of full-time study based
on the number of core requirements completed. Applicants selected for
the program are required to attend a two day mandatory orientation at
the beginning of each class. No other residence requirement is necessary.
Cohorts are selected twice annually during the fall and spring terms
(August and January). Interested students should contact Dr. Sarah Williams
at williajs@uiwtx.edu or the School
of Extended Studies.
