Cloud File Storage Availability
Information Technology introduces Stoneware, a web-based tool that allows you to access UIW’s private cloud. It’s like taking a UIW desktop environment wherever you go. Services include file storage space (so you don’t have to keep up with that flash drive), and single sign-on to various resources such as Cardinal Mail, library databases, Banner INB and Blackboard. You can access Microsoft Office 2010 applications even if the computer you are working on does not have Office installed. Take Stoneware for a test drive by visiting: https://cardinal.uiwtx.edu and logging in with your UIW username/password (same information you use to log into your work computer or access Cardinal Mail).
Several support documents linked below have been created to assist you. If you have additional questions, call the Help Desk at Ext. 2721.

Event Submission Policy Changes
In order to better assist persons with special needs seeking to attend a UIW event, UIW has created an "ADA/Section 504 Information" link on the UIW home page, http://www.uiw.edu/. This links to the ADA/Section 504 site that opens to the page "Request for Accommodations" http://www.uiw.edu/ada/index.html. The web page "Request for Accommodations" has an electronic form that allows the general public and students to request various types of accommodations and includes a “comments” section. The form provides for a notice period of at least five university working days to request accommodations. If a request is made less than five days prior to the event, the form may still be submitted and the university will make reasonable efforts to provide accommodations.
This new procedure is consistent with the events promotion policy recently sent out by the Office of Public Relations requiring that all event promotion notifications be submitted to the PR Office via the online form, http://uiw.edu/pr/preventform.html, at least five (5) university working days prior to the date of the event.
If you have any questions in this regard, please contact the Section 504 and ADA Coordinators for the University of the Incarnate Word:
