Mass of the Holy Spirit
Please join us in celebrating the beginning of a new semester and celebrating the achievements of our honors students from UIW, St. Anthony Catholic High School and Incarnate Word High School. Mass of the Holy Spirit will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 in Our Lady’s Chapel.


Football Stadium Ground Breaking
UIW will officially break ground for the Gayle and Tom Benson Stadium at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17. Join Dr. Agnese, the Bensons and others at the running track to the left of the Convocation Center. Light refreshments will be provided.

Catch the Cardinal Spirit
The men’s basketball game between rivals UIW and St. Mary’s University is scheduled for 8 p.m.Monday, Jan. 21 in the Convocation Center. Admission is free with a UIW ID or $7 for adults and $5 for children under 12. It will be broadcast live on CTSA, Time Warner channel 15. Catch the spirit!

Print Shop Hours
The Print Shop will resume its regular hours starting Monday, Jan. 14.
Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Business Office Getting Busy!
As the spring semester approaches, the Business Office will become increasingly busy. During the first week of classes, there will be one station devoted to handle the UIW community. Irma Gallego will be processing petty cash, check cashing and parking decals for all employees. To beat the rush, you may want to visit the Business Office now. Thank you for your cooperation during this busy and exciting start of the new semester.

Welcome Back Hot Chocolate and Doughnuts
Warm up Monday morning, Jan. 14 at 8:30 a.m. with hot chocolate and doughnuts for 25¢ at the West Gate Circle (between Marian Hall, the library and Dubuis Hall).The event is sponsored by Campus Ministry.

Gate Closure
Because of an event sponsored by track and field, the gates on Hildebrand will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.Saturday, Jan. 12. All UIW community members, visitors and guests will be able to enter at the Burr Road entrance and the ICC area gates.

For the week of Jan. 14-19:
Monday – Thursday: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stop Motion Film Festival
St. Anthony Catholic High School will hold a Stop Motion Film Festival at 12:15 p.m. today, Jan. 11 in the school cafeteria. Admission costs $1. Come out and support these talented student filmmakers.


St. Peter Elementary Registration
St. Peter Prince of Apostles is beginning the registration process for the 2008-09 academic year. Registration packets will be going home Jan. 15 to all registered families, and forms will be due back to the school office by Jan. 23. We also invite any new families to St. Peter School who are parishioners or members of the Brainpower Connection to complete and turn in their registration forms beginning Jan. 15. Open registration will begin Jan. 25.
