2015 fashion management plaid pattern official

After years of hard work, the UIW Fashion Management Program has developed the official tartan (plaid) for UIW. They felt it was important to incorporate the founding Sisters in the plaid design.  The three white lines that are together on the plaid represent the founding Sisters. Several versions of the plaid were developed.  The fashion faculty narrowed it down to 3 designs. Luxury scarves and satin ties can be purchased at this link. A portion of the money from the sales of the tartan items will be returned to the Fashion Management Program to fund scholarships. Pictured above (left to right) is Dr. Melinda Adams, associate professor of Fashion Management, with Dr. Lou Agnese, UIW president, displaying the new plaid.
