San Antonio – The University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) will honor the Fall Class of 2016 at a Commencement Ceremony set for 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Joe and Harry Freeman Coliseum (3201 E. Houston St., 78219). The Fall Graduating Class of 2016 with over 1,200 students is the largest UIW graduating class to date.
The ceremony will be broadcast online and will be available 15 minutes prior to the start of the event at http://uiwtv.org/index.php/commencement/
A Baccalaureate Mass will be held for all graduates at 5 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9 in the Alice P. McDermott Convocation Center on the UIW campus. Processional and recessional music will be provided by the San Antonio Pipes and Drums with musical direction provided by UIW Professor William Gokelman.
