Cantos

The vocal ensemble "Cantos" was founded in the summer of 1996. The word Cantos means song in Spanish. Cantos performs all the standard repertoire for small vocal ensemble.

Cantos members are: Deborah Bussineau-King, Soprano, is a founding member of Cantos, and Artistic Director, Professor of Music at University of the Incarnate Word, Cantor and Music Coordinator at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and soloist at First Presbyterian Church. Robert Giles, Baritone, is a founding member and Assistant Manager at Southern Music Company, and soloist at First Presbyterian Church. Sydney King, Tenor, is a founding member of Cantos, computer programmer, software trainer for the Shelby Software Company, and tenor soloist at First Presbyterian Church. Kathleen Weir Vale, Mezzo Soprano, is President and CEO of Hope Medical Equipment and is President of the San Antonio Choral Society.
