Bachelor of Arts in Music with emphasis in Music Industry Studies: Audition Requirements
- Prepare two musical selections in contrasting styles (classical, folk, popular, jazz) in whichever instrument or voice you are most proficient. The same applies if you play/sing only by ear. (Note: Music Industry Studies prospective majors may delay their audition until the time of their first jury, but only if they have no previous musical training.)
- All students are required to take the Theory/Aural Skills Placement Test which will be available online in the very near future. For more information about this test, visit the following link: Theory Diagnostic Test
NOTE: All students will be considered for a music scholarship on the basis of their audition; however, prospective Music Industry Studies majors with experience in the field may bring a Resume and evidence of production/mixing/engineering work, and apply for a music scholarship on this basis.
