Call for Proposals: Mobile Learning

The Project

Information Resources has received funding to support Phase II of UIW's Mobile Learning Program. Proposals are being sought from full-time faculty members interested in participating in the program in the Fall, 2013 and/or Spring, 2014 semesters.

Who is eligible?

While all full-time faculty are invited to submit proposals, preference will be given to those teaching upper-division courses with 25 or fewer students.

Expectations

• Faculty selected will attend a Summer, 2013 Tech Institute, where they will receive an iPad
  
• Participating faculty will present their findings/outcomes at the April 2014 Tech Fair
  
• Faculty will participate in the larger evaluation process of the project (e.g., focus group with students, etc.)
• Faculty will have discussed their proposal with their respective dean, and received approval for the idea

Timeline

Applications are due on March 22, and winners will be announced at the Tech Fair on April 3
