Daniel Rios Rodriguez

As the newest member of the McNair staff, Daniel Rodriguez comes to the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) straight from graduate school. Born, in Killeen, Texas into a military family, Mr. Rodriguez had many opportunities to travel throughout the U.S. and abroad.

Beginning his studies at San Antonio College (SAC), Mr. Rodriguez went on to the University of Illinois at Chicago to receive his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. Daniel then attended Yale University where he received his Masters in Fine Art in Painting and Printmaking. After completing his graduate studies, Mr. Rodriguez, returned to San Antonio with his wife Veronica and newborn daughter Paloma. His ambition is to maintain a fruitful career in education at the university level while continuing art practice in his studio.
