Dr. Linda Malcom

Assistant Director, McNair Scholars Program

Dr. Malcom has been with the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) teaching Introduction to Education Research since 2006 and with the McNair Scholars Program as Assistant Director since July 2010.  Before coming to UIW, Dr. Malcom spent 31 years in K-12 education.  She holds a B.A. in Art Education from East Central State University in Oklahoma and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education as well as a school administrative certification from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos.  Dr. Malcom earned her Ph.D. in Adult, Professional and Community Education from Texas State University in San Marcos.  Her office is located in the Administration Building, room 122 and she can be reached at 210-829-3824 or malcom@uiwtx.edu.
